txAdmin First Run
When you first start txAdmin, you’ll be guided through a setup wizard to configure your server and create an admin account.
1. Welcome Screen
The wizard will start automatically on first run. Click “Get Started” to begin.
2. Admin Account Creation
Create your admin account:
- Username: Choose a secure username
- Password: Use a strong password (12+ characters, mixed case, numbers, symbols)
- Email: Optional, for password recovery
⚠️Important: Store your admin credentials securely. You’ll need them to access txAdmin.
3. Server Configuration
Configure basic server settings:
- Server Name: Your server’s display name
- Max Players: Maximum concurrent players
- Server Port: Default is 30120
- txAdmin Port: Default is 40120
4. Recipe Selection
Choose a base recipe to install:
- QBCore: Modern framework (recommended for new servers)
- ESX: Legacy framework
- Qbox: Alternative framework
- Custom: Skip recipe installation
ℹ️You can install frameworks later. The recipe system makes it easy to add or change frameworks.
5. Complete Setup
Review your settings and click “Finish Setup”. txAdmin will:
- Create necessary directories
- Install selected recipe (if any)
- Start the server
After setup completes:
- ✅ Admin account created
- ✅ Server starts successfully
- ✅ Web interface accessible
- ✅ Resources loaded (if recipe installed)
