txAdmin Discord Integration

txAdmin provides a Discord integration for supported server management workflows. Its official feature list documents:

A configurable, persistent server-status embed that updates automatically.
A Discord command to whitelist players.
A Discord command to display player information.
Whitelist modes that can use Discord membership or Discord roles.

The exact configuration controls, permissions and command names depend on the installed txAdmin version. Use the Discord settings and help shown by your version, not assumed slash commands from another bot.

Configure the integration

Sign in as a txAdmin administrator authorized to modify settings.
Review the installed panel’s Discord integration settings and the linked instructions.
Configure the supported Discord application/bot and channel permissions according to those instructions. Grant only the necessary scopes.
Enable the status embed or whitelist feature you actually need.
Test the selected workflow with a private test server and a test Discord user.
Confirm that only authorized Discord users can access administrative information or whitelist actions.

Store Discord bot tokens in secrets management and never paste them into a public server.cfg, GitHub issue or screenshot.

What is not automatic

The txAdmin documentation does not establish that the panel generically syncs all Discord roles into txAdmin Admin Manager permissions, offers every webhook alert type, or includes standard /server status, /players and /restart commands with those exact names.

If you need custom Discord commands, external notifications, or role-provisioning automation, use a separate, reviewed integration with explicit authentication and permissions. Do not give a public Discord bot direct unrestricted server-console access.

Verify and troubleshoot

Check the settings and the bot application’s required permissions.
Verify the correct Discord server/channel is selected.
Test a status update, a supported whitelist action and access denial for a non-admin.
Rotate a leaked bot token immediately.
